내가 겪은 뻥파워.

어제 있었던 일이었다. 세컨 컴퓨터가 있는대 그 구성은 암드 트리니티에 에즈락 보드 파워는 파워렉스였는데, 어제 잠시 키고 딴짓하다보니 컴퓨터가 불은 들어와있고 화면은 나가있던게 아닌가. 그래서 다시키니 그 메인보드 회사로그 뜨면서 바로 바이오스에 진입하더라. 이것은 필시 파워 문제임을 직감했다. 안그래도 트리니티가 암드긴하지만 안좋은 씨피유는 아니기에 전에부터 부팅이 느리다던가 한참걸리는게 의심은 갔지만 이렇게 터질줄은 몰랐다. 파워렉스는 뻥파워라는 이야기는 들었지 당해보니 무섭더라. 증상은 갑자기 블랙아웃되어버리고 재부팅해도 위잉 소리가 나지 않는다는 거다. 시급히 남아돌던 안테 HCG-900으로 교체했다. 물론 이 안텍 제품도 오래되어 간당하지만 파워렉스보다는 안전할거라는 믿음으로 장착했다. 장착후 전보다 부팅속도가 빨라졌으며 버벅임이 많이 줄어들었다. 컴퓨터에서 파워도 중요한걸 알고 있었지만 직접체험하니 좀 황당했다. 그래서 내 기준에서 무난한 파워 브랜드를 나열하자면 antec 뿐이다. 그리고 자잘한게 있다면 antec은 월드 워런티로 알고있다. 외국서 싸게사서 AS기간이 있다면 고치면 된다는 것이다. 안택만 써봐서.. 다른 파워는 머가 좋은지 모르지만 보통 FSP, 슈퍼플라워, 커세어, 에너맥스 정도라 한정하겠다. 물론 맹신은 안좋지만 파워를 구매할때 검은동내 하얀동내 등등 여러 컴퓨터 관련 커뮤니 티를 이용해서 이슈가 있는지 없는지 확인하면 파워를 살 때 그나마 위험을 덜어내고 구입 할 수 있다.
